CISF is looking for 451 for General Duty (GD)  Head Constable Posts against Sports Quota, Details Here

CISF GD(General Duty) Constable Recruitment 2023 Notification: Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has published a recruitment notification for the recruitment to the post of Constable (General Duty) for sportsperson. Eligible male and female candidates can apply for CISF GD(General Duty) Constable Recruitment on or before 22 Feb 2023
However, the deadline for submitting applications for the North East region is Feb 22, 2023.

Candidates who submit the application in due course will be included in the sporting event through the experimental examination. To make the shortlisted list of candidates in the exam, 40% will be given through the skill test. Thereafter a merit list will be prepared on the basis of the skill test and the achievement / performance of the candidates in the last edition of any tournament / competition / game. In the end the selected candidates will go through medical examination.

Last date for submission of application - 22 February 2023 till 23:00 hrs. 

Deadline for submitting applications for Northeast Region -Feb 22, 2023 from 23:00 hrs.

Salary:

Rs.25,500 - 81,100/-

Eligibility Criteria for CISF GD Constable Post

12th pass from recognized educational institution with state / national / international representation achievement in games, sports and athletics.

Individual Events :

1. The country should be represented as a member of the Senior / Junior International Tournament in the previous edition. Or

2. There should be a medal-winning performance in the Senior / Junior National Games / Championship during the last edition. Or

3. Should a state or equivalent unit be represented at the National Games / National Championship at the senior / junior level during the previous editions or

4. During the last edition of the All India International University Championships a medal or

5. Gold medal at the National School Games / Championship during the latest edition

Team Event :

1. The country should be represented as a member of the Senior / Junior International Tournament in the previous edition

2. Has won any medal in the national / senior level junior competition during the last edition. Or 

3. Should be represented on the State team or level unit at the National Games / Championship at the Senior / Junior level during the previous editions or

4. Member of the medal winning team at the All India Inter University Championships during the last edition

5. Gold medal at the National School Games / Championship during the latest edition.

Age Limit:

21 - 27 years (as on 22/02/2023)

Physical Standards

Height:

1. For General, SC and OBC candidates: 167 CMS
2. For in respect of persons falling in the categories of Garhwali’s, Kumauni’s, Gorkhas, Dogra's, Marathas & candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir: 160 CMS
3. All candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes: 160 CMS

Chest:

1. For General, SC and OBC candidates: Minimum 80 CMS with minimum expansion of 05 CMS i.e. 80 to 85
2. For in respect of persons falling in the categories of Garhwali's, Kumauni's, Gorkha's, Dogra's, Marathas & candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir: Min. 78 CMS with minimum expansion of 05 CMS i.e. 78 to 83
3. All candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes: Min. 76 CMS with minimum expansion of 05 CMS i.e. 76 to 81

Medical Standards 

Eye Sight:

1. Visual Acuity unaided (Near Vision)

Better eye – N6

Worse eye – N6

2. Uncorrected visual acuity (Distant Vision)

Better eye – 6/6

Worse eye – 6/6

3. Refraction

Visual correction of any kind is not permitted even by glasses.

4. Color Vision : CP II by I-SIHARA

Remarks : Binocular vision is required must.
